Should I buy a used or a new machine?
This is a very good question. The answer is not always so simple. Basically, at Superpunch, we like to look at your budget first, then how many heads and what kind of production you wish to achieve. Everybody wants an almost brand new machine at half the price, 100% of you, but we do not have a magic wand. Therefore, we like to sit down with you and discuss in depth all the options, the inventory, the positives and negatives on all the machines on the market, their history, so that we can find the best possible match for your need.
Some people like to buy new machine and will never trust someone else’s problems. We are ok with that, our Happy machines are the toughest on the market today and we can give you phone numbers of embroiderers who purchased a brand new Happy from us in 1998 and have never called us back ever since! Happy machines are built like tanks. Others will want a lower price and trust Superpunch for a used machine, with our warranty and our same attention and service as if it were a new one. We can sell a used machine and give you a warranty, it all depends on the machine, but basically it will go from 0 to 12 months warranty depending on the machine. Only a used Happy machine will get a 12 months warranty, same as a new one in certain cases.
